Eligibility Criteria Indian Air Force AFCAT
1. Age Limit
- Flying Branch: 20–24 years as of 01 January 2025 (Born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2006).
- Upper age relaxation for holders of a valid Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India): Up to 26 years.
- Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): 20–26 years as of 01 January 2026 (Born between 02 January 2000 and 01 January 2006).
2. Marital Status
- Candidates must be unmarried at the time of course commencement.
- Marriage is not allowed during training.
3. Educational Qualification (As per Previous Notification)
Flying Branch
- Candidates must have passed with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at the 10+2 level.
- Additionally, one of the following qualifications is required:
- Graduation (3-year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks or equivalent.
- BE/B Tech degree (4-year course) from a recognized university with 60% marks or equivalent.
- Cleared Section A & B examination of the Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with 60% marks or equivalent.
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) [AE (L)]
- 10+2 Level: Minimum 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics.
- Degree Requirement:
- A 4-year graduation or integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/Technology with 60% marks in any of the following disciplines:
